Esport Center is waiting for racketlon players from all over the world. The venue is situated in Espoo, 10 kilometers from the center of Helsinki. The court floors and lights are of top quality and the numbers are 8 squash, 23 badminton and 16 tenniscourts. There is a top standard restaurant with reasonable prices for good food and refreshments. The championship hotel is Sodexho Matinkylä some 4 km from the venue. There will be a shuttle between the hotel and the venue throughout the event. We are also prepared to take care of transports from and to the airport.

The organizers are expecting over 120 participants. Entrants for the men’s class are already Eliasson, Schaub, Kärkkäinen, Kainulainen, O’Donnell and Kemppinen. We are still expecting some strong oppsition for Susanna Lautala-Näykki and Hanna Rusila from Linda Jansson , Jutta Schaub and other top ladies.

The Finnish TV4 channel interviewed Mikko Kärkkäinen and Martti Vottonen in a live broadcast for 15 minutes. The Finnish Open was well adverticed and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the event got some time in the national sports news.

Entries close in four weeks time so there is still plenty of time to enter.

Welcome to Finland!
